Help the Ronald McDonald House Charity

I wanted to share a really easy way you can help the Ronald McDonald House foundation.  Ronald McDonald houses are available to families that need to stay for an extended period of time near a hospital while their child is being treated.

They are collecting "Pop Tabs" from the top of your aluminum cans.  They will recycle them and use the money to fund their program.  They are doing the tops only instead of collecting cans because they are cleaner, easy to mail and easy for people to help out with.

We have been collecting pop tops at home since school started.  We've enlisted family members and my husband has a drop box in his classroom and his students all participate.

I was getting a package together to mail to them and thought I would pass this along in case anyone wanted to participate.  It's an easy thing to do and helps out a great cause.
