Thrifty Homemade Cupcake toppers

Recently I was asked to make a cake with every Disney Princess on it for a church youth activity.  Have you ever tried to incorporate Ariel with Jasmine, Pocahontas and Mulan onto one cake?

I decided to make "cupcake toppers" of each princess.  Here's what I did:
I found internet images of each princess HERE.

I then copied each image to a Word Doc.  I made them all the same size, and printed them off on normal paper with my colored printer. (there were 4-5 on each page)

Then I took my Square craft punch and punched out each princess image.  I had to use the punch upside down as shown in the photo so I could see where the image was being cut.
I also punched out a piece of colored card-stock to attach to the back of the topper. (Each princess was assigned a color to divide people into groups)
I then used a glue stick and attached the image to the card-stock.
Before sealing them together, I added a toothpick:

I then used packaging tape to "laminate" the image front and back.

These were really easy to make, and would be super cute on cupcakes for a child's birthday.  You could use any image, Twilight, Superhero's, Cars, Congratulations, Over the hill.....anything
