One that we found last year that I just checked on again is the annual "Customer Appreciation Days at Snowbird ski resort". Bring one can of food per person, and get a free tram ride up and back down the mountain. Dates are 16-17 and 23-24. Last year the line was a little long, but there are things to see and do (although the do-ing costs money...bungee tramp, bounce house...) while you are in line.
We took up a camera and let my son take pictures for his Reflections project.
**Bring a jacket though, there was snow on the ground at the top and it was windy.
Rod Works has a deal that ends Wednesday October 6th. You can get 50% off of any 1 Halloween item.
Papa Johns Pizza has a deal for every Monday in October. You can get a 1 topping large pizza for $5.99. I love Papa Johns Pizza, but we only get it once a year because it is so expensive. This deal is the one we wait for. We ordered 2 this past Monday! When you call to order, tell them you want the "Monday night deal". **You do have to call ahead on this one**
And who can forget Papa Murphy's Jack-o-lantern Pizzas?
Also $5.99 but in the fun festive shape of a Jack-o-lantern.
This is a tradition in my family for Halloween, my boys love it.
**They have these on hand so you just have to drop by and grab one**
Also check:
- your local Library for fun events (ours is doing a magic night)
- Local Rec. Centers (they might have an annual Halloween event)
- Local Pools
- Be on the look out at your Dentist and Dr. office. Our Orthodontist is hosting a free event at a local corn maze! (plus he's offering $2.00 per pound of trick or treat candy the kids bring in up to a max of $20 per child!)
- Local museums might be hosting Halloween events too
